When I started working at the BCM, they had just replaced all the windows in one of their ministry houses, so I got three of the old windows to craft with! We moved right after I got them and they've been behind a pile in my craft room ever since, but I was on an organizing kick a few weeks ago and I rediscovered them. I decided to use Krylon looking glass spray and this tutorial to turn two of them into mirrored windows.

birthday celebration
This past Friday was my birthday - the big 22! I had a great time celebrating. Steve took me out to lunch and got me a treat at Starbucks (what a sweetie). Friday night my mommy cooked us dinner and Matthew, Elizabeth, and little Will were there, too!
crockpot breakfast
I ran across this crockpot breakfast recipe (http://lilyandbliss.com/2013/01/two-crock-pot-recipes-overnight-cinnamon-apple-oatmeal-and-kielbasa-sauerkraut/) a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try. It turned out so delicious!
christmas 2012
Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I was having technical difficulties with my card reader, but Steve finally figured it out and now I can post all my pictures from the past month!
Steve and I celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve with my family this year. We had a great time, especially with our three little nephews!

christmas crafts
Christmas is definitely craft time in the Kieklak household. I love making handmade gifts for family members, so I started planning what to make in early November. I made Steve this tshirt quilt and I made a series of paintings for both of Steve's siblings. His sister Erica loves all things Harry Potter, so when I saw these on Pinterest, I decided to make my own larger version for Erica's present.

steve's tshirt quilt
Steve has a ton of old tshirts that he doesn't wear but doesn't want to get rid of, so for Christmas I made him a tshirt quilt. It was a little difficult for me to find instructions online for all the steps I needed, so I decided to post my quilting process here for anyone looking to attempt this project.
