happy birthday, nike!

Nike turns 1 year old today! We tried to take pictures of Nike every week when we got her so that we could see her growing, but after a few months we forgot. Still, you can see her growing, so here are some pictures of her over the past 9 months.

Here she is on the car ride home from the breeder, & playing with her favorite toy the week we got her. She was 3 months old & about 18 pounds. 

paintings for our new nephew

A new nephew means nursery crafts! My sister, who is a graphic designer, made these cute owl & fox graphics for me to paint for Levi's nursery. Here are some pictures of my painting process & the finished products. I think they turned out so cute!

oh boy! {nephew #4}

Levi Jarrett was born yesterday around noon. Since my sister lives in Houston, we won't get to see him for a while, so pictures will have to tide us over until we do!

What a cutie! We've always had so much fun with our nephews, so we're excited to add another to the mix!

another day at the farmer's market

Last Saturday my friend Cara was in town for a wedding, so we got several friends together & went to the farmer's market. Here's my good friend Amy, who is getting married in August!

The weather in Fayetteville today is perfect! Steve and I went to the Farmer's Market this morning, and we're spending the afternoon at Arsaga's reading and enjoying the weather.
